With Return Of Rain Comes Slippery Road Conditions

(BEDFORD) - Bedford police had their hands full when the rain started to fall yesterday.
Bedford's Assistant Chief of Police Dan Kirk tells WBIW News that around 7 minor accidents happened yesterday during the rain.
Police want to remind drivers that, when rain starts, especially after an extended dry period, the rain lifts the oil on the road, making surfaces very slippery, and, of course, police urge caution.
Though 7 accidents were reported in Bedford city limits yesterday, only 1 was reported in the county.
