(BLOOMFIELD) - The Greene County Sheriff’s Department had a section of IN-54 shut down east of Bloomfield because of a traffic accident from early this morning.

The Greene County Daily World reports a tractor-trailer accident was expected to be cleared off the road by the noon hour today, after the semi wiped out, rolled onto its side and took out several utility poles at a little before 4:00am this morning.

The paper says the driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
