State Police Identify Body, Arrest Suspect In Spencer County Murder

(ROCKPORT) - Significant new developments have occurred in the case of the body found on a Spencer County farm.
Since early yesterday, Indiana State Police have identified the body, determined her death was a murder, and now have one man in custody.
Spencer County Coroner Barry Schulte says 42-year-old Sheila Renee Denson of Philpot, Kentucky died from a combination of asphyxiation and multiple traumatic blunt force injuries about her head and neck.
Then, around 7:00pm last night, police arrested and charged 41-year-old Lonney Dale Schroeder of Spencer County with murder.
