Morgan County Teen Arrested For Burglarizing Police Department

(BROOKLYN, IN) - State police from the Putnamville District have a Morgan County man in custody for robbing…a police department headquarters.
State police say 18-year-old Mickey Michaud of Brooklyn, Indiana and a 16-year-old male burglarized the Brooklyn Police Department on August 3rd.
The investigation shows missing items included two safes, five handguns and cash.
Officers obtained a search warrant and recovered all the items except the cash at Michaud's Brooklyn residence.
Michaud was taken to Morgan County jail on felony charges of burglary and theft, the 16-year-old was issued a summons to appear on a charge of juvenile delinquency.
