Last updated on Monday, September 08, 2008
(EDINBURGH) - A man drowned in Pisgah Lake in Edinburgh Saturday morning after a boat he was fishing from capsized and he became entangled in a maze of underwater tree limbs.
Johnson County Sheriff Terry McLaughlin says 37 year-old Jason Meador was fishing with his father-in-law, 60 year-old Billy Hall, when the accident happened.
The father-in-law swam to the bank of the lake to get help.
Divers later recovered Meador's body after a 40 minute search.
