Jasper Company To Sell Off 10,000 Acres Between Bedford, Ohio River
Last updated on Monday, September 08, 2008
(JASPER) - Jasper based Kimball International is putting up about 10,000 acres of land for auction between Bedford and the Ohio River.
An Associated Press report says the Jasper company, who now makes furniture and electronics, originally acquired the lands to procure lumber, primarily for its now-defunct piano business.
Another 12,000 acres will also be auctioned off near Sturgis, Kentucky, including 4 miles of Ohio River front.
