Identity Released Of Morgan County Inmate Found Dead

(MARTINSVILLE) - The identity of a Morgan County inmate has finally been released.
Morgan County Coroner Dan Downing says the name of the inmate was Jeffrey Lanham.
Network Indiana reported Lanham was found dead in a cell over the weekend where a number of people were being held.
Now, Downing says the cause of death was asphyxiation due to stomach contents, or, otherwise stated, he choked to death on his own vomit.
Lanham was reportedly apprehended for possession of a controlled substance early Saturday morning.
