(PAOLI) - A columnist for the local Bedford newspaper has been injured in a motorcycle accident in Orange County.

The Bedford Times-Mail reports 44-year-old "At Your Service" writer Barbie Jenkins suffered head and facial injuries and various fractures and was taken to Bloomington Hospital of Orange County.

The paper says Jenkins was headed north on IN-37 near Paoli when she approached a curve and ran off the road, getting thrown from the bike.

No other vehicles were involved.

WBIW News wishes our journalistic colleague, Ms. Jenkins, a speedy, successful recovery.
