(STANFORD) - A chain reaction accident on IN-45 in Greene County involved people from Greene and Lawrence Counties as well as people from Ohio Friday afternoon.

State Police Bloomington say 33-year-old Kathy Grubb of Solsberry was waiting to turn left from IN-45 onto CR1390 when she was rear-ended by Randy Stranger of Williams.

That impact sent Grubb into the oncoming lane to be hit head-on by Lisa McKamey of Bloomfield, and also by 24-year-old Chad Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Grubb, Miller, and Miller's passenger, 24-year-old Shawn Kovacic of Canton, Ohio, were all taken for medical care for their injuries and both of their cars were a total loss.

IN-45 was closed down entirely for about 1 hour.
