State Troopers Gunning For Aggressive Drivers At Avoca Turn-Off
Last updated on Monday, August 04, 2008
(AVOCA) - The number of crashes has dramatically increased at an intersection where INDOT recently installed a new traffic light.
State police say the fault lies with aggressive drivers who view the new signal at the intersection of IN-37 and IN-54 near Avoca as a "must-win" situation.
They're speeding up on a yellow light instead of slowing down.
Troopers from the Bloomington State Police Post plan to add patrols at the intersection to crack down on aggressive driving.
