Limestone Home Catches Historic Board's Eye
Last updated on Monday, August 25, 2008
(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County’s historic preservation board wants to protect one of the county’s oldest homes.
If county commissioners agree, the two-story home -- built in 1828 -- could not be changed without the preservation board's approval.
The home is made entirely of limestone believed to have been cut in the area.
