IUPD Warns Of Traffic Snarls Due To Student Move-In Next Week
(BLOOMINGTON) - If you’re planning on driving in or through Bloomington at all starting this weekend, avoid campus if at all possible.
Indiana University Police Captain Jerry Minger advises drivers that students will begin moving into the dorms as early as this coming Sunday, and the full-fledged move-in day will be next Wednesday, August 27th.
The IUPD says traffic and parking issues will be modified in various areas, and traffic will most likely snarl along the immediate campus roads including 3rd, 10th and 17th streets, and look for rough traffic issues along the IN-45/IN-46 bypass as well.
