ISP: Here's How Students Can Stay Safe At College
(BLOOMINGTON) - With move-in day approaching at Indiana University, Bloomington State Police are offering tips for college students to keep their selves and belongings safe.
State police say students should keep their doors locked in their dorm rooms and keep an eye on their keys. Never walk or jog alone at night and be alert to your surroundings.
Trust your instincts, so if you feel uncomfortable, head on out. And, finally, when you're changing clothes in your room, make sure your drapes are drawn.
That will make your school year much easier.
