(BEDFORD) - Two more people have gone down as part of the Lawrence County, Bedford city joint task force.

This time, 23-year-old Jason Fleetwood and 26-year-old Wendi Fleetwood were arrested after an investigation by the team led to the discovery of a nascent pot growing operation at the Fleetwood's 15th Street home.

Bedford and county officers secured the home without incident last night around 8:40pm, and during the search found 9 plants along with lighting and ventilation apparatus in their crawlspace, and an abandoned grow space in their attic.

Additionally, police say found a Schedule IV prescription drug in Wendi's possession which she faces a charge for.

Overall, both individuals are looking at charges including cultivating marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance, neglect of a dependent, and possession of marijuana under 30 grams.

Both were lodged in the Lawrence County jail.
