(BEDFORD) - All of Lawrence County’s law enforcement agencies are on the hunt for drugs…specifically yours!

Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig tells WBIW News one of the biggest sources for drug abuse is kids that get into the medicine cabinet and dig out leftover or expired prescription medication.

And that is why Bedford, Mitchell and County Police are teaming up with Dunn Memorial Hospital and setting up collection points around the county to take in unused medication to be properly disposed of.

The collection drive will be this Saturday between 8:00am and noon.

Lawrence County residents can stop in the Mitchell, Bedford and Lawrence County Police Departments, as well as the Farmers' Market at US-50 and IN-446, and the volunteer fire barns in Marion, Marshall and Indian Creek Townships.
