(BLOOMINGTON) - Workers laid off from Bloom Marketing in Bloomington have been hit with a double-whammy.

According to a report in the bloomington Herald Times, Bloom Marketing laid off several dozen employees earlier this week, and those employees were just informed the classes they were taking at Ivy Tech as part of a grant co-op between Bloom and the Department of Workforce Development, will come to an end.

Officials involved say those who were laid off are no longer eligible to take the classes at Ivy Tech, and that 118 employees were signed up.

The paper says how many of those 118 were affected by this move is unknown.
