White River To Stay Within Its Banks
Last updated on Tuesday, July 15, 2008
(UNDATED) - Good news for those living along the East Fork of the White River.
All flood warnings have been cancelled by the National Weather Service.
Sunny, dry weather since Sunday has helped water from Saturday's heavy rains evaporate quicker than anticipated, meaning river levels are expected to stay below flood stage at all points between Lawrence and Jackson Counties, as well as in Spencer, which also was under a flood warning.
