Police Widow Dies After Receiving Husband's Pension

(BLOOMINGTON) - The widow of a Bloomington, Indiana, police officer has died days after finally receiving his pension.
Eighty-six-year-old Ruby Strain died Sunday at her home in Alabama.
Her daughter lobbied for the pension -- which totaled nearly $137,000.
