Man Arrested For Allegedly Chucking Phone At 911 Caller
(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County deputies were called to a battery complaint just outside of Bloomington yesterday.
Monroe County Chief Deputy Scott Mellinger says officers were called to the 2200 block of West Bloomfield Road regarding roommate dispute over cooking.
Mellinger says that, during the call, 23-year-old William Groves allegedly disconnected the phone and chucked it at the victim.
Eventually, officers would arrive and arrest groves on misdemeanor charges of battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime.
