Lawrence County Revs Up For ABATE Boogie Today
(BEDFORD) - Two wheels, chromed steel and two cylinders roaring through polished pipes is what Lawrence County is about through this weekend.
The 28th annual American Bikers Aimed Towards Education Boogie kicks off in Springville today, and rumbles through Sunday.
Music acts like Blackfoot, Exile and Shooting Star will be taking the stage during the festival which should pack in at least 10,000 visitors at the Lawrence County Recreational Park.
ABATE is a non-profit organization that takes up the cause of motorcycle safety and rider's rights, and has seen acts as big as Quiet Riot and Rick Derringer show up to Boogies past.
