(BLOOMFIELD) - The search for a missing Bloomfield woman due in court tomorrow has been called off by Indiana conservation officers.

According to a report in the Greene County Daily World, conservation officers searched the White River once more yesterday for 46-year-old Betty Carlton of Bloomfield, who has been missing since Saturday, but to no avail.

However, officials say the case isn't closed.

Carlton was last seen standing underneath the Veterans' Memorial Bridge in Bloomfield, and a woman was spotted by fishermen 15 miles down stream from the bridge floating along without a life jacket or boat.

Carlton is due in court tomorrow to face several charges including public nudity and battery on an officer.
