(BLOOMINGTON) - An odd case in Bloomington. Bloomington police picked up a couple for residential entry and drug charges after a series of unusual incidents.

Bloomington police allege 25-year-old Elonda Fleener walked up to at least three houses, knocked or rang the doorbell, and asked the person answering if she could use their phone, often entering, or at least attempting to, without permission.

Additionally, a Bloomington detective recognized Fleener as a person he was investigating on drug charges. Eventually caught up with Fleener and her driver, a William Knight, and took them into custody.

Fleener faces 3 felony charges of residential entry and 1 preliminary charge of dealing cocaine. Knight also faces the cocaine dealing charge as he reportedly told officers he was driving Fleener around to ask for money to buy drugs.

Both were lodged in the Monroe County jail.
