Beware Of "Meth Trash"
(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Police Bloomington District is warning Hoosiers, not just of the dangers of meth labs, but of the dangers of meth lab trash.
State police Sgt. Curt Durnil says bikers, joggers, hikers and other people out along roads for recreation could find materiel that could prove hazardous, since meth cooks use dangerous, caustic, acidic and even explosive chemicals in their work.
One thing Durnil says has been happening is people coming across new-looking gas cans, which turn out to actually be a working meth lab.
Other things people can happen upon include soda bottles, plastic baggies, or other types of odd-looking tanks that could contain things such as hydrochloric acid and other dangerous materials.
