(HURON) - Lawrence County officers had their hands full yesterday evening when a motorcycle accident happened in front of a home where they were investigating a death.

Lawrence County reports say officers were called to a home along the 100 block of US-50 in Huron when a woman, 49-year-old Teri Croan of French Lick, hit a dog in front of the house while riding her Harley motorcycle.

Croan suffered abrasions across her entire body as a result of the accident, and Dunn Memorial Hospital EMTs helped her out.

No citations were issued.
