Woman Arrested After Calling For Help
(BEDFORD) - A woman called 911 early this morning asking for help, because she was drunk, didn’t know where she was and had driven into high water.
Just after midnight the call came in from the 3900 block of Pumphouse Road, and when officers arrived they found a 1996 Ford Ranger, driven by 48-year-old Susan Pennington of Solsberry, had backed out of the water.
She was then taken into custody without incident and given a breath test which she failed.
Pennington was lodged in Lawrence County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
