(MITCHELL) - A quarry truck from Mitchell Crushed Stone nearly crushed a pickup truck instead, sending it into a boulder.

Lawrence County police reports say 44-year-old Mark Johnson of Orleans was driving south on Tolliver Cemetery Road just north of Copperhead Valley when an International truck driven by 51-year-old Dan Butler of Williams came out of the quarry exit, and, without even seeing Johnson, rammed his truck, sending it careening into a nearby boulder.

Butler, the truck driver, wasn't injured, however, Johnson was listed as suffering neck injuries.

No citations have been issued.
