Mobile Food Pantries Open Across Southern Indiana
(UNDATED) - Some Indiana families are struggling to stay afloat in the wake of record flooding. That’s why several food banks are collecting items for those driven from their homes.
Gleaners Spokeswoman Pam Altmeyer says they've been taking mobile pantries to cities in Central and Southern Indiana. Gleaners has coordinated relief efforts in Rushville, Columbus, Martinsville, Bloomington, Spencer, Terre Haute, Evansville and Franklin.
With so many communities devastated by record flooding, Altmeyer is asking for your help. You can bring items to Gleaners throughout the week from 6:30 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon.
