(TUNNELTON) - The joint task force between the Bedford Police Department and Lawrence County Police Department arrested three more people on drug charges yesterday evening.

After learning of possible drug activity at a home on West Iroquois Road in Tunnelton, further investigation revealed that the man residing there had active warrants out of Michigan.

The task force then served a search warrant at the residence and arrested 33 year old Tremayne Turner for warrants of delivering and manufacturing meth, cocaine, and pot, and local felony charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

Also arrested were 34 year old Lula Horn for maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a controlled substance, and 31 year old Eldon Sullivan and charges of visiting a common nuisance and possession of a controlled substance.

All three were lodged in Lawrence County Jail.

Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News that the task force so far this year has made 31 arrests and seized "a humongous quantity" of drugs.
