(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman is dead after a rollover on US-50 yesterday afternoon.
Lawrence County reports say 26-year-old Angela Cooper of Mitchell bobbed across the centerline of US-50 a couple times before driving off the south side of the highway, rolling her SUV and being ejected from it.
The vehicle struck a utility pole causing the SUV to spin and roll over and eject Cooper from the truck, throwing her into a billboard pole.
A witness to the accident said it didn't appear as if Cooper was speeding before the accident, however, intoxicant tests are currently pending on her.
