Bloomington Man Charged With Rape

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police have a man in custody on a rape charge.
Bloomington police say they were called by a 21-year-old woman who said that 21-year-old John Hamaker of Bloomington took her to his place, when he was reportedly supposed to bring her home, and raped her in the bathroom.
After the incident, the woman filed a report with Bloomington police and then had a rape kit and examination performed at Bloomington Hospital.
Hamaker was eventually arrested and lodged in the Monroe County jail.
