Another Mark In The "Arrested" Column For Joint Drug Task Force

(MITCHELL) - The joint task force between Bedford and Lawrence County police cut another notch in their drug bust belt.

A search warrant was served at a house on Curry Street in Mitchell by officers from the Bedford, Lawrence County, and Mitchell Police Departments.

At the residence police found 43 year old Russell Crane and evidence that included marijuana, meth, precursors to the manufacture of meth, and various paraphernalia.

Crane was charged on felony counts of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of 2 or more precursors with intent to manufacture meth, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

More charges are pending as the investigation continues.
