(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington woman was arrested in Bedford on public intoxication charges, and, when she was getting ready to bail out of the clink the next morning, was found out to be someone else and tossed back in.

Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News that they were called to a home on the 700 block of 19th Street twice, and the second time found 19-year-old Lindsay Eggles throwing items about the yard in an apparent state of intoxication.

When she was arrested, she allegedly gave officers a false identity, and she was lodged in the Lawrence County jail for public intoxication.

However, when she was bonding out, they found out she was indeed Lindsay Eggles, who was wanted on a warrant in Lawrence County for failure to appear on an attempted theft charge.

They kept her in on that charge and further charged Eggles on false informing and illegal consumption.
