(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police have concluded an investigation into a pair of alleged heroin dealers, putting two in the Monroe County jail.

Bloomington police officials say 28-year-old Kathryn Dutkowski is facing one charge of dealing heroin, and 29-year-old Robert Bruhn faces two of the same.

Bloomington officers report having conducted a controlled buy at the Wal-Mart parking lot Monday night and afterwards, pulled over the van the pair was in, driven by another couple who didn't know what was going on, and took Dutkowski and Bruhn into custody.

Bloomington police say heroin use has been increasing in the campus town.
