Power Outage In Bedford

(BEDFORD) - A power outage has struck a large section of western Bedford this afternoon.
According to Bedford Police Department officials, the affected area is marked by Plaza Drive, M Street, and Norton Avenue.
Duke Energy, as of 1:25pm this afternoon, was reporting 184 Bedford customers without power.
Crews are currently working to repair a cross-arm on a utility pole which seems to be the culprit, and Duke Energy's Angeline Protogere says power is expected to be restored by 2:30 this afternoon.
