Memorial Announced For Fallen Bloomington Trooper In Lawrence County

(BEDFORD) - Bloomington state troopers will be holding a memorial service for one of their own that died in the line of duty 45 years ago.
The memorial service, to be held tomorrow afternoon at Cresthaven Memory Gardens here in Lawrence County, is in honor of Trooper Robert Gillespie.
The Bloomington Post will also hold a separate ceremony Wednesday at a different time and place.
