Man In Jail For Threatening Woman With Gun

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Monroe County man is in jail after threatening a woman with a handgun Friday.
Monroe County Chief Deputy Scott Mellinger says a women went to the residence of 29-year-old Christopher Underwood to drop off their 1-year-old daughter for visitation when the woman noticed Underwood was reportedly intoxicated.
The woman refused to leave the baby there, and that's when she alleges Underwood grabbed her by the throat, pushed her up to a wall and held a pistol to her head.
When police got there, the woman had gotten away but had visible injuries, and Underwood was taken into custody for felony counts of intimidation, battery and pointing a firearm at another person.
