(UNDATED) - The price of gas is up again in Indiana. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is going to cost you now $3.85.

Greg Seiter with AAA Hoosier Motor Club says he can see no justification for the sudden increase in the last 24 hours.

Varying sources are also predicting prices to soar above the $4.00 mark in the next couple of weeks. Seiter says while there is nothing concrete to give that indication, the current trends keep that within the realm of possibilities.

AAA Hoosier Motor Club is encouraging motorists to save fuel and save money.

Seiter says proper car maintenance may not seem like a lot, but it can save dollars over time.
