Flooding Forecasted For Jackson County, IN-450 Opens
(BEDFORD) - The National Weather Service has issued flood warnings throughout various points of the East Fork White River in Jackson County.
Flooding is expected to begin through Seymour, Medora, Petersburg and Hazelton today and last through at least Sunday.
National Weather Service meteorologists say between 2 and 3 inches of rain fell on parts of southern Indiana the past couple days, and additional rain is due today and this weekend.
Additionally, the Indiana Department of Transportation has re-listed IN-450 between Williams and Shoals as open, though there may be other side roads compromised by high water.
