East Fork Tops Flood Levels In Seymour
(SEYMOUR) - The East Fork of the White River is already at flood stage as of Wednesday morning in Seymour.
However, National Weather Service meteorologists are saying the river won't get much over a half-foot over flood stage when it crests, though that is still causing significant agricultural land flooding, and may affect some smaller, local roads.
The river is expected to fall back below flood stage in Seymour by late tonight.
Still, Lawrence County is not forecast to have the East Fork crest flood stage.
