(BEDFORD) - A missed red light caused a 3-car accident in Bedford that sent one woman to the hospital.

Bedford police reports say 19-year-old Richard Abel of Bedford was coming through the intersection of 16th and Beech Streets eastbound when, he says, he didn't see the red light and struck the passenger side of 60-year-old Linda Hackler's Oldsmobile.

Hackler's car was then spun into 34-year-old James Beck's car, that was waiting to turn from Beech to westbound 16th.

Hackler was taken to the hospital complaining of neck pain, both Abel and Beck weren't injured.

Abel was cited for disregarding an automatic signal.
