Construction Drops Speed Limit On US-50 West Of Loogootee

(MONTGOMERY) - For those who plan on traveling on US-50 west of Loogootee, you should be aware of a decreased speed limit in Montgomery, Indiana.
As part of the Indiana Department of Transportation's Major Moves program, road crews are set for construction on the stretch of US-50 through Montgomery, and the speed limit has been reduced significantly.
Drivers coming through the area need to be prepared to slow down to 30 miles per hour. Work on the project began in April and is scheduled to end in 2009.
