Columbus Officer Injured In Semi Accident

(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus police officer was slightly injured from flying debris Sunday morning when a sleeping semi trailer driver crashed into his parked police car.
Patrolman John Luttrell was helping a motorist on Interstate 65 near the Columbus exit when the semi driver barreled off the road.
Lutrell, who was not in his car, was treated and released from Columbus Regional Hospital.
Luttrell's police dog was in the car but was not hurt.
