Mitchell Mayor Loses Father

(MITCHELL) - Floyd “Peck” Terrell, Jr., father of Mayor Danny Terrell, passed away early Sunday morning.
Terrell is listed as having worked at General Motors and also owned and operated Mitchell Bowling Lanes for several years. Additionally, Terrell was a Marine veteran of World War II.
Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00am at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home, and visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm the evening before and again that morning from 9:00am until time of service.
