HiB Fuels To Open Facility In Linton

(LINTON) - A Bedford company is expanding into Greene County.
The Greene County Daily World reports HiB Fuels, who has a facility on 5th Street in Bedford, will be developing a biomass fuel facility on 19 acres of property they just purchased from the City of Linton.
Biomass fuels are typically developed by recycling cellulosic material, especially yard waste and lumber leftovers, and mixing them with coal to create another usable fuel.
The paper reports about 15-25 jobs will be coming to Linton as a result.
