Heavy Rains Cause More Flood Worries Tonight

(BEDFORD) - Tonight, the WBIW listening area is looking at some heavy storms, and, along with that, enough water to add on to our existing flood pools and possibly create a few more.

We're looking at the first round of rain to hit either late this morning or early this afternoon, but tonight is when it's going to turn heavy.

Storms are looking to pick up around the 6:00pm marker, and then open all valves around 1:00am tomorrow morning.

To that end, the National Weather Service has issued a general flood watch for Lawrence and surrounding counties through tomorrow night.
