Dogwood Festival Names Citizen Of Year, Queen

(ORLEANS) - The 40th annual Dogwood Festival, currently underway in Orleans, has named their annual “Citizen of the Year” and festival Queen.
Ronnie Taylor has been named "Citizen of the Year" by the festival.
Natasha Carr has been crowned as the Queen of the 2008 Dogwood Festival at the annual pageant.
The big parade is still on schedule for this coming Saturday at 2:00pm. Those still wishing to make an entry should call Leandra Buechler at (812) 865-4884.
