Seymour Man Who Shot Himself Identified
(SEYMOUR) - A man who shot himself to death Friday on the shoulder of Interstate 65 in Seymour has been identified.
43-year-old Mark McCormack of Martinsville died of a gunshot wound to the head, according to Roger Wheeler, Jackson County Deputy Coroner.
The autopsy was performed Saturday at Kentucky State Medical Examiner'S Office in Louisville.
Traffic was stopped or slowed on I-65 southbound for several hours Friday afternoon and evening as police investigated the incident.
