Orleans Man Picked Up On Meth Charge

(ORLEANS) - State Police Jasper picked up an Orleans man on methamphetamine charges.
Troopers were issued a warrant for 40-year-old Monty Tillett of Orleans for possession of more than 3 grams of precursors in one week.
The charge usually relates to purchasing too many over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that contain the ingredient pseudophedrine, a lynchpin ingredient of methamphetamine.
Tillett was taken to Lawrence County jail without incident.
