Homeless Man Arrested For Burglary

(BEDFORD) - Bedford police arrested a homeless man last night on charges relating to the burglary of a Windsor Drive trailer.
Bedford Police Assistant Chief Dan Kirk tells WBIW News 20-year-old Allen Smith was arrested around 9:30 last night after he confessed to burglarizing a nearby trailer.
Kirk says smith was found in possession of several DVDs and video games, which, reports indicate, he was tossing over a fence into the woods when officers arrived.
The reports say after being caught, Smith gave a full statement of confession, detailing what he had done.
Smith was then taken to Lawrence County jail charged with burglary and possession of stolen property.
