Group Holds Child Abuse Vigil At Courthouse Lawn

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County group of Prevent Child Abuse will be holding a vigil Monday after next to honor the children that have died due to child abuse.
The group says more than 50 Hoosier children died as the result of abuse and neglect in the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
So, to honor them and the fact that April is Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Awareness Month the group will hold their vigil on the Lawrence County Courthouse lawn Monday, March 31st.
They ask Lawrence County residents to join them for their vigil.
